In a suit filed by Novex Communications against Sun TV Network, the Bombay High Court vide an ex-parte order dated April 11, 2018 directed Sun TV to obtain license from Novex Communications for any songs in which Novex has copyright and which are played at IPL 2018 matches between Sunrisers Hyderabad and any other team at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium at Hyderabad.
